If you have ever used the term "hole-in-the-wall" to describe a restaurant, bar, or store, you'll understand what it truly means once you eat at Rodney's. We met Rodney the day we stopped in to have some of his famous catfish and Cajun food and he was kind enough to give us a tour of the whole 250 square feet. We sat in the back courtyard and enjoyed our meal under the shade trees that beautifully provide a cool place in a hot town.
Rodney has carved out a niche for himself in another way by offering tasty food comes from his home state in Lousiana. Where else can you get Gumbo like mother used to make?
Great place. A true hole in the wall. The owner made us the gumbo in front of our eyes. Ate it on the patio. It was excellent. Made a memory.
