Really good hospital for a small town. They've always taken care of me when I've had to go to the ER or other services
If you are in a strange town, hundreds of miles from home and a medical emergency occurs, Wilcox is the place to be. The team running the emergency room a h was extremely attentive, caring, and genuinely pleasant. The nurses were all very knowledgeable and efficient. We couldn't have asked for better care. Thanks to everyone!! You made a bad situation bearable!
Had an emergency passing thru so went here for some help. Get the bill later in the mail for 2 hrs there and it's $900. I feel being from out of state they took advantage of me. I called an was put on hold and then put to vm. I left several voicemails and no returns after 2 wks I call again but this time i call the hospital itself. I was put thru to someone an explained that i received my bill and that I can't afford my bill an the letter stated I could apply for financial assistance or get a reduced cost. I wanted to see what we could do to reduce my bill. After she pulls my bill up she proceeds to tell me that since I don't live in not so nice AZ I can't get any help. They want there money but don't want to help anyone. I call total BS and hopefully will never have to stop here again. I feel I was led on cuz the statement states i can apply but nowhere does it say anything about doesn't apply to people out of state. Very disappointed. Shame on them for leading ppl on
