Amazing experience, highly recommend it for all on a spiritual path.

A truly life changing experience. If you've been contemplating something like this, I implore you to follow your heart. Serene and tranquil environment with the most kind and gracious hosts. Take your time and enjoy!

Annie and Matthew are dedicated spiritual guides who let Peyote do the magic instead of making themselves the important focus like so many faux shamans that i have met. They have lived and worked here for more than half of a century and carry on the work that Mana began with them over 50 years ago.

Though I have never shared the sacrament Peyote at the Church, I was drawn somehow to Aravaipa Canyon and the Galiuro Mountains for my first Peyote journey back in 1973 as well as many subsequent years. Later I discovered these friendly folks living just a few miles away and stopped in once or twice over the years to see their work. One memory that stands out was to walk into a small greenhouse that had 10,000+ peyote cactus lining almost every inch of the dirt floor. The energy was amazing. The other striking memory was to look at their collection of personal photos that had been posted on one wall of the pottery design/construction room and to spot one that showed two young men sitting at a sidewalk cafe somewhere in Europe. One fellow was Mana, the later founder of the Peyote Way Church of God, and the other man was a young, though unmistakeable, Salvador Dali.

You can stop in any time if you'd like to purchase Peyote Way pottery at their little showroom or just in order to learn more about the Church. If you sincerely want to make the Medicine journey you need to call for a reservation. The summer is not the optimum time to journey, obviously, so give them a call and plan your visit and Peyote journey a few months ahead.

i went to pheonix to find insight into my boring everyday grind.i'm glad i broght my gps for the rental,i recommend a high clearance car.once on the dirt road (klondyke rd.)stay on the [main] dirt road (sometimes the gps will try another route ,don't listen, trust your instincts).i almost got stuck in sand 50 miles from the nearest ranch with no cell phone service.i could have been in a bad situation if i didn't have my wits.once i arrived,i was greeted by friendly dogs and people..i was asked to fast for 24hrs,and the spirit walk itself. i was on the spirit walk, then a few hrs in i started to feel refreshed and had the time of my life.alone and in a dry creek bed ,i knew i was so isolated i could not be easily followed here .and i was on my own .i had a great time ,there were a few other people there doing the spirit walk themselves, all had a good time.there are some dargerous wildlifes here so stay where you are and look before you walk.

Wonderful Concerned and Caring Hosts for your Spiritual Quest.
